The advantage of standard windows

Standard-sized windows are mass-produced and are therefore more economical than custom windows. On the other hand, they are available more quickly when they are in stock. Bespoke windows take longer to make. It is not mandatory to opt for custom windows when the dimensions of the opening exceed that of a standard window by a few centimeters. One can indeed apply a impost or a bore to adapt the dimensions of the existing to those of a standard window. A window that is slightly too small is always better than a window that is too large.

Take the dimensions of his window

To find out if you can install standard windows, you need to take the frame. Determining the size of windows is a sensitive operation, especially in the case of large openings and hard-to-reach locations. Dimensions are shown as: height (h) x width (l). When surveying, measurements should always be taken at three different points (low, middle, height) and the smallest measurement should be retained.
